Mental Health Consultation:
Mental Health “is defined by a person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being.” Often the presence of such a condition may begin to affect the overall functioning of an organization if undetected and untreated.
As a licensed clinical psychologist and ordained elders, we utilize professional training in assessment and diagnosis integrated with ministry experience. The combined expertise enables us to distinguish between issues that may benefit from a higher level of professional care and those that may be managed within the organization’s scope of practice. We provide consultation and assessment of problem areas that will lead to appropriate service recommendations. This will assist in effectively meeting the needs of the individual and the organization.
Leadership Development & Training:
Leadership development “refers to any activity that enhances the quality of leadership within an individual or organization.”
We have served in a leadership capacity for the past 22 years both in ministry and in professional settings. We utilize our experience and training to assist with the overall goal of building healthy teams. The Lord has required us to build His kingdom by functioning as an apt body or unit. He admonishes that we particularly strengthen and equip each portion of the body for the purpose of greater works in the church at large. We are most passionate about our ability to enhance the methods you are applying to building your team or ministry.
Pre-Marital & Marriage Counseling:
PREPARE/ENRICH “is the leading relationship inventory and skill-building program used nationally and internationally. It is built on a solid research foundation and significantly improves a couple's relationship. PREPARE/ENRICH is custom tailored to a couple's relationship and provides couple exercises to build their relationship skills.”
We have utilized the Prepare/Enrich program for the past 12 years. The program has been a very useful and enhancing tool in our work with couples both married and committed to the covenant of marriage. Marriages and families are the foundation for any strong church or organization; therefore we approach this unit with high regard in our quest for overall success in the Kingdom. We are equipped to handle a range of issues imbedded in relationships from communication problems to physical violence and issues with varying addictions and infidelity. We recognize the need for leaders and members to have safe and wise counsel.
Conference/Seminar Speaking & Presentation of God’s Word
Pastor Brown and Dr. Brown are both dynamic speakers who have been graced by God to live in the peace He has ordained for his children. They have been anointed to share the word of God in transparency and genuineness. It is their desire to infuse and instruct the body of Christ as the Spirit of God gives utterance and revelation of his word. They would love to come out and share with your group or ministry. Dr. Paula Boulware-Brown
Dr. Paula V. Boulware-Brown gave her life to the Lord in November of 1979 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. She was ordained an elder in the Lord's church in March of 2003 and she earned a Doctor of Psychology degree in May of 2004 from Regent University. Christianity and education were strongly emphasized in Dr. Brown’s home, and she grabbed hold of those values with fervor. Dr. Brown is the daughter of Mr. Oscar Lee Boulware and Reverend Dorothy Boulware, retired pastor and editor of the #1 ranked African American Newspaper in the country.
Dr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, a Master of Science degree in counseling psychology, a Master of Arts degree in clinical psychology, and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Brown is licensed as a Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania and Virginia and she is credentialed with the National Registry of Psychology. Dr. Brown has worked in the mental health field in varying capacities for 21 years. In the last decade she has served as staff Psychologist with the U.S. Navy as well as other very prominent facilities that provide substance abuse and mental health treatment to those impacted by addiction. Dr. Brown is the author of the book “Eagles Don’t Eat Chicken Food,” a work inspired by her personal testimony and desire to assist individuals in discovering their unique design.

Dr. Brown is married to Pastor Jamal D. Brown, and the couple has two lovely daughters: Janiyah (13) and Jasmine Brown (10). The Browns have been united in covenant for 22 years as partners in trust and ministry serving as assistant and executive pastors in the states of Virginia and New Jersey. In May of 2016, the Browns were sent forth to establish the Family Restoration Worship Center, in Lancaster, PA with a vision derived from their testimony of God’s power to restore individuals and families. Dr. Brown is known for a style that integrates her training and experience as a psychologist to provide an additional component to the work of ministry. She provides dynamic training, teaching, counseling, preaching and administrative gifting to the quest of Kingdom Building. One of Dr. Brown’s most beloved testimonies is how the Lord took her from the rough streets of Baltimore, MD and transported her to a place of distinction. She believes that true fulfillment is found in manifesting the “thing” you were distinctively created for.
